Grandma's Funeral

So not many of you probably know but my wonderful grandmother passed away last Friday morning. She is now happily reunited with grandpa keeping him in line. We are very sad at her passing but in turn we are truly happy because we know we will one day see her and grandpa again and we know they will be our guardian angels now and watch over us and laugh when we make stupid mistakes. We love you grandma and you will be forever missed. Here are some pictures from this wonderful yet sad day.

The most beautiful casket topper I have ever seen. My cousin Ivy and I picked it out. We know grandma would have loved the colors and flowers.

All the grandkids at the graveside excluding Justin who is diligently serving our Savior in New Jersey. He was definitely missed.

Ry and I after the dedication of the grave.

My Family after the dedication.

Ry, Me, my brother and Ash

All the girls in the family. We are gonna make grandma proud!

The three daughters

Ry placing his flower on the casket. It was beautiful.

David placing his flower on the casket.

Ry and David were pallbearers. My cousin Kevin is behind Ry and the older guys are our relatives.

The freaking awesome hurst my grandma got to ride in. Doesn't this car rock?

Us outside the church before the funeral service.

My grandma was a breast cancer survivor so we had this made to set beside her casket. It was beautiful. We all wore pink ribbons during the funeral too. What a tribute to grandma and her fight for life.
Thank you to all for your love and support during this difficult time for my family and I. We have truly felt it. We love you all!

Friend, it looks like it was a wonderful funeral for your grandma--you grandkids are probably the greatest tribute to her and I am sure she is very proud of you! Lots of love!

Friend, what a beautiful funeral service. I am so sorry for your loss, but I know you're right as far as it being a happy reunion as well. I echo both Melissa and Suz. Love you friend!
